Nike Honors San Francisco’s Historic Chinatown With The Air Force 1 Low

Across the nation Chinatowns in each major city proffer the food, customs, art and beauty of Chinese culture here in the States. Next to North Beach and the Financial District of San Francisco, the United States’ first-ever Chinatown was established in 1848. Paying homage to the centuries-old neighborhood, The Swoosh is subsequently crafting a celebratory Air Force 1 Low.

Providing a bright white aesthetic throughout, the model enjoys premium tooling by way of buttery-soft leather that encases the entirety of the silhouette and color-matches the blank shade along its laces and inner lining whereas the heel comes embossed with a lotus flower native to the World’s most populous country. Injecting life via the tonal spectrum, the midsole, tongue tag and Swooshes render a hot pink to white gradient that lightly paints the heel’s insignia. Sitting atop an icy blue translucent tread, the design elements conclude with golden embellishments bearing the aforementioned tab and blue-patterned insoles.

While we sit tight on release date information from the brand, enjoy a first look at the pair thanks to images from woganwodeyang.
