Disparate textile combinations have begun slowly making their rounds this holiday season on the Nike Air Force 1. In an effort to continue the silhouette’s 40th anniversary celebration, an unlikely green and orange outfit is now centering itself on the latest low-top construction.
Extending smooth tumbled leathers across the entirety of its upper, the vamp, midfoot panels and knit mesh tongue construction explore a crisp white base layer whereas its surrounding cracked overlays proffer a muted “Oil Green”. Contrasting the lightened ensemble, jet-black accents fill the sock liner and both the tongue and heel tabs embroidered branding while the sole unit underfoot comes anchored in a “Sail” hued midsole and color-matched black tread in tandem with its “AIR” insignia. Choosing to disrupt the neutral-toned palette with a seldom introduction of “Safety Orange”, pre-worn canvas textures emanate the hue along its midfoot Swoosh and connecting back tab in conclusion.
