Jared Ebanks Last year LeBron James began taking steps toward embarking on his own off-shoot brand from The Swoosh similar to that of Jordan’s now billion-dollar business, signing a six-year apparel deal with HBCU Florida A&M. Outfitting the entirety of its athletics department and the legendary Marching 100 in his iconic crown logo, the Rattler’s basketball programs have repeatedly been blessed with player editions of the four-time champions signature silhouette, now giving us all a first-look via Instagram at their exclusive duo of Nike LeBron 20’s.
Similar to the blocking employed onto the LeBron 19 and its low-top construction, a dark forest green envelops the weaved upper in a dominant fashion along the laser-etched forefoot, tongue and sock liner. A boisterous accent explores vibrant orange hues across the first pairs laces, tread and secondary midfoot Swoosh whereas its layered opposition enjoys a crisp white outfit in tandem with its Zoom Air unit underfoot. The second pair in contrast features a near-clad white upper, accented through seldom green stitching and a matching exterior Swoosh whereas the interior flaunts a coat of bright orange paired with its traction outsole. At the heel of both silhouettes the University’s staple rattler logo proffers a stitched finish.
While these are reserved strictly for both the men’s and women’s basketball programs and won’t receive a public release, enjoy official images of the Nike LeBron 20 “FAMU”.
