From CLOT to PSG to a trio of DJ Khaled-inspired propositions, the Air Jordan 5 has continued to ride the coattails of its 30th anniversary with an even mix of collaborative efforts and brand-new inline compositions. Airing on the side of the latter, Jordan Brand’s women’s-exclusive silhouettes are being expanded by curing its low-top construction in a pristine “Indigo Haze”.
Coated from head to toe in a premium wash of the faded violet hue, the midfoot’s side vent and seldom lace overlays proffer both a lightened and vibrant inclusion accenting the clad-purple upper and its color-matched laces. Contrasting the gloomy ensemble through an “Alabaster” treated sock liner, further bright cream embellishments indulge in the lace fastener and spiked midsole detailing, all while being surrounded by a dark “Flint Grey” sole unit and Air bubble. Curing its tread in a singular semi-translucent feature, an unassuming “Fire Red” tint fills the insoles Jumpman insignias while the tongue tab mirrors the silhouette’s past female-exclusive contemporaries with a “Silver Metallic” finish.
While no release date information has been shared just yet, in the meantime enjoy a first look at the upcoming Air Jordan 5 “Festival Lights” below.
