Alongside bringing back past releases like the “Black/White,” the Air Jordan 1 is taking 2023 in several new styles. The “True Blue” is certainly among the most notable of the bunch, as it helps celebrate 35 years of the Air Jordan 3.
A direct homage to the Tinker Hatfield-designed icon, this upcoming Air Jordan 1 conjures to mind images of the “True Blue” 3s. The colorway leans a bit away from the original in design, however, preferring to spotlight the titular cool tone as well as “Cement Grey.” Here, the latter is applied to the outsole, heel counter, and ankle flaps, while the former paints the Swoosh as well as the adjacent overlays. Elephant Print and the red accents, however, are absent, further distinguishing the pair from its inspiration.
Enjoy another look at the Air Jordan 1 “True Blue” right here. A release is currently scheduled for this Saturday, January 14th, with sizes to be available through both Nike SNKRS as well as select retailers.
In other news, official images of the Union LA x Air Jordan 1 KO Low have surfaced.
