Arguably among one of the most surprising comebacks of the last few years, the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 — which first re-entered the public consciousness with A-COLD-WALL back in 2018 — has recently been playing around heavily with both its colorways as well as its construction. This newly-revealed pair, though, is much less experimental, opting for a relatively simple design comprised of “Pure Platinum” and “Laser Orange.”
Here, the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 is clad almost entirely in neutrals, with “Pure Platinum” dressing the shoe’s mesh inserts as well as its TPU cage and adjacent leather overlays. The tongue and lace unit follow suit, while the midsole opts for a “Sail” finish not unlike that of vintage offerings. “Laser Orange,” then, comes in along the Swoosh and tongue label, complementing the blues that round out the arrangement across the outsole and lining.
Complete with a graphic nod to Bill Bowerman, this Nike Zoom Vomero 5 should be hitting select retailers as well as Nike.com within the next few months. Enjoy an official look at the pair ahead as we await its release.
In other news, images of a Satin Green Dunk Low surfaced late yesterday evening.
