With the anticipated return of the heralded Air Max Plus “Hyper Blue” set for a 2024 release, the Sean McDowell design has meanwhile been quietly celebrating its 25th anniversary with its typical roster of general releases. Recently, the palm tree-inspired silhouette began harkening back to its 1996 roots with the reappearance of the model’s staple yellow Swoosh.
While the singular embellishment instigates a seldom throwback, the remaining tooling is anything but as a white to deep violet consumes the mesh upper in a colorful gradient while remaining encased by the silhouette’s typical collection of silver TPU overlays. Formulating an additional transparent mudguard atop the solid grey full-length panel, a disparate swatch from the color palette closes out the remaining real estate as navy hues collect along the upper tongue and lace loops while yellows fill the Air Max cushioning and stabilizing shank underfoot.
Complimented by an assortment TN logos, enjoy official images of the Nike Air Max Plus “Plum” below while we await further release details that are expected to be made available in the coming weeks.
For more from underneath the Nike Inc. umbrella, UNDERCOVER has readied another slate of Nike Moc Flows featuring a clad-black ensemble.
