With the Lakers tied up at one a piece in their opening-round Playoff series, LeBron James and Co. now have the opportunity to snag two-straight games in a row at home. While The King’s next batch of colorways for his signature series won’t hit shelves until the end of the first round, the fourth colorway from James’ Next Gen series is set to employ a neutral backdrop with lively pastel hues.
Enveloped in a dominant “Light Orewood Brown” composition, the clad-neutral introduction receives a decadent textured accent at its mudguard, tongue tab and heel counter with faux reptile leather. Accompanied by a “Sail” treated sole unit underfoot, the upper’s embellishments begin to dress in a titular constrast, infusing “Coral Chalk” at the mid-foot Swoosh and the tongue’s LBJ branding. While jet-black stitching and a medial Swoosh provide seldom departures from the exercised palette, the lip of the tongue and downsized secondary Swoosh receive a titular orange finish.
Scheduled to release on May 1st for a retail price of $160, in the meantime enjoy official imagery of the Nike LeBron NXXT Gen “Light Orewood Brown” below.
