Jared Ebanks The past few weeks have showcased the Beaverton brand’s latest inline collection centered around the technical set-up of a speaker and its hi-fi sound system. Introduced via the Dunk Low and Nike Cortez, the recent revitalization of the Zoom Vomero 5 additionally undertakes the “Supersonic” monicker.
Setting up shop the same way as its counterparts, a lively assortment of white and “Sail” shades surround the mesh base layer and TPU caging system’s mid-foot Swoosh while jet-black accents clarify the vamp and heel overlays. Splitting its midsole between the aforementioned cream and pitch-dark monochrome pairing, the simplistic exterior juxtaposes the collection’s repeating vibrant blue and black insoles that denote the interior technology of a speaker system.
