While similar to the Air Jordan 2 “Origins” that launched in mid-November, this Air Jordan 2 Low is meant to celebrate Christmas. Its mostly “Black” arrangement sets the stage for “Fire Red,” “Fir,” and “Cement Grey” accents. The retro is slated to release via nike.com on December 16th for the price of $150 USD.

ORIGINAL STORY August 2nd, 2023
Unlike most of the core Air Jordan line-up, the Air Jordan 2 was originally produced all the way in Italy. And while not quite as premium in its construction today, the model surely hasn’t forgotten its roots.
Following in the footsteps of its mid-top counterpart — more specifically, its forthcoming “Italy” colorway — the Air Jordan 2 Low is beginning to channel its Italian heritage with one of its latest styles. Originally leaked much earlier in the year, the pair boasts a palette near identical to that of the aforementioned, albeit with a black upper instead of white. “Fire Red” detailing, then, highlights the piping along the side, the Wings logo sculpted into the tongue, and the sections of the heel piece not clothed in a deep green.
Rounded out with a grey-on-red bottom, the Air Jordan 2 Low “Italy” (also commonly referred to as the “Christmas”) is expected to release on Dec. 16th via both Nike SNKRS as well as select retailers.
In other news, SNKRS Day 2023 will be going global this September.
