Amidst a constant stream of releases, the Air Force 1’s 40th anniversary has fallen to the backdrop as the Beaverton brand continues to implore its focus around the Dunk Low and a range of collaborative efforts. Before the year comes to a close, however, Nike will be casting one last send-off for its iconic Bruce Kilgore design in the form of a floral grade school collection.
Introduced through a monochrome palette amplified through a litany of floral graphics, the latest low-top counterpart embarks upon a much more reserved aesthetic. Leaning upon a neutral-based Pantone, a smooth tan leather envelops the near entirety of the upper in a luxury handbag aesthetic illuminated through crisp white contrasts filling the profile swooshes, laces and midsole. Complimented by yellow-gold tongue and heel tabs alongside a classic gum outsole, the heel’s lateral overlay is imbued with a trio of jet-black embroidered flowers.
Enjoy a detailed look at the grade school-exclusive Nike Air Force 1 Low “Yellow/Gum” from the upcoming “Floral” collection below while we await further release details.
In other news, the Nike SB Dunk High “Sweet Tooth” releases tomorrow, October 14th.
