Jovani Hernandez Trae Young is surely poised to have a stellar 2023-24 NBA season with his Atlanta Hawks squad. And while the world is yet to see how the underdogs take on the rest of the league, one thing’s certain: the Hawks guard will lace up the adidas Trae Young 3 night after night.
First previewed in early June with the help of Young’s father and son, the third signature model for the 25-year-old is a stark departure from its immediate predecessor. Engineered mesh replaces Primeknit construction across the upper, working in-tandem with TPU and fuse materials to deliver stability, lockdown, and protection. Profile 3-Stripes indulge in a “Silver Metallic” finish that contrasts the “Pulse Mint” and “Silver Green” hues that claim most real estate throughout adidas Basketball‘s next proposition. The eyebrow-raising sole unit features a number of layers, with BOOST cushioning being visible via the outsole; Lightstrike foam also forms part of the sneaker’s setup, bringing reliable and lightweight cushioning into the equation. Trae Young logos round out the shoe, landing on the semi-translucent heel section underfoot.
