The Air Jordan 1 Brooklyn Surfaces In A Light Tan Colorway

Another appearance from the platform boot.

The Air Jordan 1 Brooklyn Surfaces In A Light Tan Colorway

Over the course of its long-running history, the Air Jordan 1 has been reimagined countless different times. And for its latest women’s exclusive variant, the silhouette is (literally) elevating its more fashionable qualities.

Debuted via official images back in October, the Air Jordan 1 Brooklyn is a more runway-friendly interpretation of MJ’s first signature. While the original’s DNA is still very much present, certain fixtures have been completely replaced and reworked. The sole, for starters, offers a sizable platform and lug bottom more akin to a pair of boots than sneakers. This is also true of the upper, whose taller profile could easily be mistaken for another brand if not for the Swoosh and Nike Air branding.

In addition to “Triple Black,” the brand new model will also be arriving soon in a natural-toned colorway. Vachetta reminiscent leathers are used throughout the heightened collar, overlays, and unders, matching that of the adjacent tongue and laces. An off-white finish, then, dresses the pair’s “Nike Air” branding as well as its textured side walls.

Enjoy a closer look at this upcoming Air Jordan 1 Brooklyn via the official images ahead. While a firm release date has not yet been reported, it’s very possibly that we’ll be seeing these on Nike.com and at select retailers before the end of the year.

In other news, the Neapolitan 11s are dropping next week.
