Death awaits on March 1st.

Kevin Durant’ has assumed a number of nicknames over the years, whether they’re self-appointed or given to him by his fanbase (and haters). Earlier on, it was Durantula for his lanky limbs, and many times it was simply his initials that roll off the tongue. Later, it was The Servant as he, like many celebrities did in the early-mid 2010s, went through a church-going phase and had a close relationship with a former head paster of a mega-church.

The one that has stood the test of the time is Slim Reaper; it not only nods to his thin frame, but also points out how he tends to do his work at night. But let’s be real — KD is really killing dudes on the court, which explains the double entendre.

The “Slim Reaper” makes its way onto a KD 16, appearing in an eerie black, red, and silver colorway clad with blood splatters. “Grim Reaper” is officially badged onto a heel, marking the first time this alter ego has ever made it onto a KD shoe.

You’d think these drop around Halloween, but the Nike KD 16 “Slim Reaper” is currently set to drop on March 1st for $160.

In other Nike Basketball news, the KD 4 “Galaxy” is finally returning this week on February 16th.
