Nike SB Air Max 95 Releasing In 2025

2025 is shaping up to be a pivotal year for the Nike, Inc. brand. Not only is it marking some significant milestones for a number of iconic footwear, the Swoosh must ensure the right product and marketing are planned to win back some of the lost market share to competing brands. The Air Max 95 is one of those few truly transcendent models that touch on every generation, and according to Complex’s Brendan Dunne, we’ve got a doozy coming.

Nike SB, the brand’s skateboarding sub-division known for creating some of the most collectible, must-have sneakers ever created, is crossing categories once again by releasing a special take on the 1995 running shoe classic. Yes, a Nike SB Air Max 95 is indeed in the works, and although details are scarce, we can imagine the Swoosh brass will be fitting the sneaker with skate-ready upgrades.

In addition to the Air Max 95 SB shoe, Nike will be unveiling a refreshed execution of the model, promising a “Big Bubble” unit close to the original design as we’ve seen in the Air Max 1 ’86.

Nike SB has had a positive record with these cross-category collaborations. It’s most viable partner has been Jordan Brand; last year saw the release of the Air Jordan 4 SB, which many considered to be the year’s best shoe. Sneakerheads have been patiently waiting for a sequel, and it’ll finally arrive in 2025.
