Original article posted July 5th, 2024: Sneakers and music have long been intertwined, and while Travis Scott Nike shoes continue to dominate the newswire, the Beaverton brand has also made a habit out of releasing more attainable, music-inspired inline pairs.

For all you aspiring DJs out there, the Nike Air Max 90 “Sound Wave” draws from the frequencies of music, made unique by a multi-colored sound wave graphic on the heel. Taken in a floral mix of red, blue, and yellow, the standout element is matched by a red Swoosh and outsole. We also see yellow Air chambers and red/yellow branding on the heel and mudguard window, while the rest of the upper comes crafted out of various white and grey leather. Concluding a number of understated elements so as to maintain focus on the sound wave, the midsole wedge, lining, and heel badge all present in grey.

Nike hasn’t floated a price at the time of this writing, but pairs are expected to arrive at retailers in Fall 2024. Enjoy official images below and tap our Sneaker Release Dates page for more.
