Elegant ribbons and classic Mary Jane styling are up next.

Sandy Liang’s Feminine Touch Is Powerful In Her Next Salomon Collaboration

NYC’s Sandy Liang is ready to embark on its second collaborative launch with Salomon, adding transformative details to two brand icons. Whereas her first collaboration relied on mere color applications on the XT-Expanse and the RX Moc 3, Liang takes the feminine touch to the next level.

First up is the Speedcross 3, a silhouette particularly approached by Salomon’s female creative partners. Here, she adds thick pink ribbons by fixing them at the forefoot and interlacing them through additional metallic eyelets and a loop at the tongue; the ribbons extend upwards to be wrapped upwards like ballet flats.

Next is the RX, a casual slip-on silhouette that has garnered a heavy following in commuter-friendly cities. Sandy infuses the DNA of a classic Mary Jane flat, adding the ballet-inspired upper on the rugged, trail-ready outsole. Two colors are part of this collection — Black and Vanilla white.

The entire Sandy Liang Salomon collection will be available on July 18th exclusively at the Sandy Liang flagship store in NYC as well as an EQL raffle. A global release is expected on July 25th on Salomon’s online store and at select retailer partners.
