Andrew Rizzo It won’t be long before sneakerheads start phasing out their summer kicks and curating their autumn rotations, and thankfully, several newly surfaced Nikes stand out as compelling options for the season to come. Next in line for a fall makeover is the women’s Air Max 90, taken with leather overlays and a variety of brown shades in lockstep with cold weather uniforms.
Five colors comprise the official palette, starting with “Sail” on the base, tongue, and midsole. The Swoosh, lower eyestay, mudguard window, and heel badge all come in “Light British Tan,” and a “Khaki” quarter panel is matched by the midsole wedge and outsole. The mudguard, lining, upper eyestay, and forefoot overlay all appear in black, while “Fire Red” livens up the design on the heel branding and toe section of the outsole. Additionally, the outsole and tongue tag both feature granular, almost static-like treatments for added distinctiveness.
