Panda By You: Nike Unlocks Customization For Panda Dunks

Nike just unlocked a new Nike By You interface for the Dunk Low centered around the infamous “Panda” colorway, letting consumers customize their very own black and white Dunks with a variety of different leather fabrics.

Love them or hate them, Panda Dunks have etched out a place within sneakerhead consciousness that will last forever. It’s become fashionable to ridicule the black and white Dunk Low now that the model itself is in a lull following years of oversaturation, but such opinions can be chalked up to the fact that some sneakerheads get turned off by shoes that reach mainstream consciousness, thus loosing a bit of their “cool” factor.

Consumers are limited to black and white treatments up top, leaving focus on the material options at play. Five different types of leather are available; tumbled, ostrich, croc, stingray, and python. You can choose between black, white, and gum soles, and as is true for most Nike By You offerings, you can also add custom text in place of Nike branding on the backtab. Notably, the shoes also feature text reading “Custom Panda By You” on the inner tongue.

As mentioned, the “Panda By You” interface is open now here. Pairs retail for $150, as is typical for most Dunk Low customization portals. Scroll through some of the available options below if you’re considering designing your own pair.
