With upcoming models like the LeBron 22 and the LeBron Witness 9 ready to be added to the King’s footwear catalog, Nike LeBron are typically meant for basketball performance on the court. With the LeBron TR1, Nike is now providing an option for those gym sessions that help hone the game.

“Training is a huge part of my journey, and this shoe is designed for athletes to use during any workout, any time, any place” says LeBron.

Nike Lebron Tr 1 Dunkman Release Date 1

The key to the LeBron TR1’s capability is keeping the athlete’s foot as close to the foam base as possible. This was achieved by completely removing the strobel (the lower-most part of the shoe’s upper) to get directly on the cushioning. This allows for top responsiveness. The glove-like bootie construction provides stability and containment, all while leaving room for expansion as feet tend to swell after a workout.

If you’re looking for an all-purpose training shoe, look no further than a pair co-signed by one of the greatest ever.
