During Gary Payton’s brief and overlooked stint as a Jordan Brand Team Member, ‘The Glove’ wore the Air Jordan XIX as well as other Team Jordan releases – and even appeared in an Air Jordan commercial for the Air Jordan XIX. Part of Gary Payton’s sneaker arsenal during his Laker days include the two featured here – the Air Jordan XIX SE and the Jordan Team Flow. A yellow/white Player Exclusive of the Jordan Team Flow was made for GP, with his jersey number stitched on the inner heel of the shoe, and while the Air Jordan XIX SE wasn’t a PE and indeed released for retail, the colorway was made with Gary Payton in mind. When we think of Gary Payton and his sneakers, the ‘Glove’ comes to mind immediately and his Jordan affiliation is often forgotten, so here’s a refresher on Gary Payton’s Jordan PEs and Colorways – we’ve got a nice gallery of his sneakers as well as in-game shots after the jump, so continue reading and let us know what you think of the shoes. via US10.
