A couple weeks back, Sneaker News scooped you on a new Nike Air Moc ACG that any reasonable sneakerhead would immediately associate with the Swoosh’s Trash Talk construction. But check out the tessellated uppers on these quilted leather Air Moc ‘Scrap’; these certainly could have been crafted out of the remains of a larger sheet, but to suggest such high quality leather is refuse — perhaps herein lies the meat of what inspired this peculiar design. Pretty high-concept for a two-toned slip-on, but the result is quite impressive and we’ll keep you posted on the upcoming US release. via SF
