Just a few days ago Kevin Durant himself showed off his newest pair of kicks – the Nike Zoom KD III in the Martin Luther King Day colorway. Here’s a detailed look at this upcoming colorway that Durant is set to wear this Monday during the Thunder’s MLK Day contest against the Los Angeles Lakers. The colorway is very similar to the Black History Month colorways of the Kobe V and Air Jordan III we’ve seen thus far; the black pays tribute to the black sneakers worn by pioneers of the sport of basketball in 1960s and the gold represents their call to greatness. The luxurious glossy carved-wood upper graphic is a celebration of Black African-American Handcraft. Check out the detailed images after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for more info and NBA Feet coverage of this gorgeous colorway. via KevinDurant35.
