The road to football glory begins at a young age, from pee-wee football leagues to the Friday Night Lights of High School football. Legends are made on the college football field, and to commemorate the release of the EA Sports’ NCAA Football ’12, EA Sports has teamed up once again with Nike Training to produce this limited edition Nike Trainer 1.3 PE, emphasizing the ‘Road To Glory’ – the arduous yet rewarding path that one must take in order to ascend to the ranks of grid-iron gods. Inspired by a classic varsity letterman jacket, this EA Sports x Nike Trainer 1.3 features rugged waterproof materials with the iconic design motif using wool, leather, and chenille appliques to complete the true letterman jacket appeal. The Nike Trainer 1.3 pushes forth the unparalled technology and engineering with Flywire panels at the forefoot, a seamless toe-guard and heel, and visible Max Air cushioning on the heel, with a translucent outsole that gives way to the ‘You Want Me’ inspirational slogan depicted on the sole of the shoe. These are set for a limited release on July 12th (also the release date for EA Sports NCAA Football ’12), so check out these new images below and stick with Sneaker News for more updates.
