Sneaker Pimps just hit the halfway point of its 2011 United States tour, and first up after the ‘all-star break’ is a trip to the nation’s capital. Washington DC is a footwear hotbed sufficiently geeked on sneakers that Sneaker Con held two events there already in ’11, and Sneaker Pimps will arrive at the Ibiza nightclub in less than two weeks. A live performance by Bun B and background tunes from DJ Lil Mic should get the crowd going, but you know it’s the buy/sell/trade action that really gets sneakerheads’ blood boiling.
