Talk about getting your thunder stolen. The Kryptonite-themed Foamposite Lites that Nate Robinson wore during this year’s Slam Dunk Contest instantly became the talk of the sneaker world, but a lot of people slept on the vibrant orange pair that he rocked in the earlier rounds of the competition. Finally, we get a good look and they are pretty impressive in their own right. The orange upper and tongue are offset by some royal blue accents to complete the New York Knicks color scheme. You can now see that “GR8 N8” is stitched into the tongue, which is almost an understatement based on Nate’s spectacular performance that night. Unlike the Kryptonates, these are not expected to be released for retail any time soon, but at least you can now get a close-up look. via SoleCollector.
