With the impending drop of Nike’s Forrest Gump Cortez, the timeless running silhouette is back in focus. More than ever, Swoosh creatives are using the model to express trendy seasonal colors, exactly the case with the upcoming “Safety Orange/Life Lime” edition.

This shoe blends together two characteristic hi-vis shades, dominated by radiant tones on the canvas upper that are refracted slightly for burnt orange suede panels. While it doesn’t take up as much real estate, glow-in-the-dark-like “Life Lime” drives home the energetic atmosphere of this colorway by painting the heel cup and Swoosh. The opposing shades are about. as bright as you can find, making this a true statement look for the Nike Cortez, typically clad in more low-key arrangements.
