Although they’re not a part of Jordan Brand’s ‘Gold Medal’ Pack of Air Jordan VIs and VIIs coming up in August, the above pictured pair of Sevens is the most direct Dream Team tribute they have on tap for this summer. The Air Jordan VII Retro ‘Olympic’ brings back a colorway that Michael wore to victory in Barcelona in 1992, one that made its presence felt twelve years later around the Athens Games, and again just two years ago in a ‘For the Love of the Game’ variant. That kind of frequency makes these one of the most commonly seen colorways outside of the bred AJ1s, but the memories they evoke ensure that these will sell out in July even as sneakerheads eagerly anticipate the brand new double-package one month later.
