adidas garners a ton of attention thanks to Jeremy Scott’s collaborations, but if you’re talking about long-term impact, no one has contributed more neckbreakers to the Brand with the Three Stripes than Yohji Yamamoto. The Japanese designer whose bold styles helped pave the way for what we’ve come to know as ‘lifestyle sneakers’ returns with four different silhouettes that are as different from the masses as they are from one another. This collection features the debut of the Y-3 Kazuhirl, an elastic-ankled low-profile hightop whose sleek silhouette is a strong compliment to the equally svelte Honja High. Two more new models make their first appearances as the appropriately named Held hightop comes through with a uniquely strappy take on those iconic Stripes and the GSG-3 boot offers the kind of protection upon which German special forces rely. Prices range from $290 to $520 and you can see more of the luxurious designs below before buying at select retailers like Kith.
