A pre-yellowed LunarLon sole is something you’re unlikely to see because a) the material has only existed for four years, b) the vast majority of Lunar releases feature colorful soles (and basically none in white) and c) it’s a total anachronism that doesn’t really fit with the ongoing Nike Sportswear VNTG series. So when you read the title of new drops like the Vortex Vintage Lunar or the above pictured Nike Epic Vintage Lunar NRG, understand that the point at which NSW is driving is that unlike something like the Lunar Safari Fuse, these feature the classic upper atop a modern cushioning platform. This series has tremendous potential for some timelessly classy styles combined with the pinnacle of modern comfort, and this mixture of greys with OKC-ish accents has the Epic Vintage Lunar off to a great start at Asian retailers with US NSW stores soon to follow.
