The New Balance 1500 is a model that’s got some stitching more important than most, as the panels are pretty often put together right there at the historic Flimby factory. So what happens when you remove those stitches all together? You get a build that feels much sleeker than that of the historical NB 1500. The approach is sort of reminiscent of the “Sonic Weld” collection of New Balance 574s and the like from that debuted a couple years back, although this 1500 looks just a bit more teched out.
