Now that Nike has fittingly transformed the Air Max 1 to a midcut sneaker, it makes the Air Max 90 Sneakerboot all the more normal. So while its widely accepted, even heralded by many, this hybrid model is still very much new by all accounts. That said, Nike persists in experimenting with the fusion style like today’s Ice iteration. Adorned in a black leather and mesh upper, photo blue accents appear along the eyelets while volt contrast work the tongue, rear, and the multi-colored translucent outer. An Air Unit finishes the look at the mid ensuring that its basis is still strong even through it takes on a new identity.
