Jordan Brand hit us with some huge announcements this morning, showcasing 8 upcoming retro releases for Spring 2016. This “Dunk From Above” Collection takes the theme of soaring, as in Michael Jordan once seemingly unique ability to freeze mid-air at the peak of his jumps. One of the more surprising elements here is the Air Jordan 5 Low returning, as a premium Metallic Gold accent color even hits the piping on the white leather base. Obsidian hints on the tongue and midsole are sure to make this pair a standout for 2016. The Air Jordan 1 Mid Nouveau is an interesting if not head-scratching bring back too, as an iridescent Swoosh shifts colors on a muted white leather upper. But the crown jewel here is the Air Jordan 4 “Dunk From Above”, as a buttery navy upper sees Marquette-like accents of yellow clash with a classic gum outsole.
