Back in the early 1980’s, adidas released the New York, the brand’s first running shoe to feature the now iconic Dellinger Webbing within the midsole for support and durability. The long distance shoe is now back with a new and reinterpreted design thanks to German brand A Kind of Guise. The fellow German fashion label and sneaker brand team up to create the modernized New York, featuring slight tweaks like the three side stripes extending up and fusing them with the D-ring eyelets, as well as a construction in AKOG’s waffle piqué textile. The A New Kind of Guise x adidas Consortium New York will be available in two colorways of white and navy along with an apparel collection beginning October 31st.
