Air Max Day 2016 is right around the corner, and while Nike Sportswear and Nike’s running imprint have teamed up to give us a lot to look forward to like the forthcoming Nike Air Max Zero, some HTM surprises, and a bevy of OG classics, Hong Kong is going all out for the celebration in a way we have yet to see here in the states. The history of visible air is currently being celebrated overseas through a unique and vast installation called the “Factory of Air” hosted at 2 Lower Albert Road, Central, Hong Kong. The two-story exhibit is inspired by the fantasies seen in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory as interactive shoe displays take a playful approach to showcasing the legacy of Air Max. Air Max Con in Hong Kong will be open through March 26th, 2016 so be sure to stop by if you’re in the area.
