With Ken Griffey Jr.‘s induction to Cooperstown scheduled for July 24th, Nike has decided to create timely retros of his iconic Nike Air Griffey Max 1 to coincide with not only that feat but also the twentieth anniversary of the famed model. Of course we’ll see the “Emerald” pair retro, but the Swoosh is also bringing back this Varsity Royal offering from a few years ago. Here the perfect Sprite-esque combination of royal blue mixes with Volt accents throughout for a vibrant offering that’s sure to turn heads. Are you a fan of the look?
