In celebration of 23 years of the Air Jordan 10, the Jumpman has two releases of the silhouette planned that celebrate a few of the most important moments in MJ’s career. First up is the “Cool Grey” offering that dons a popular colorway in Jordan Brand’s legacy with a multi-colored outsole that represents all the teams that Jordan and the Bulls beat during their six NBA Championship runs. While this is the second time a 10 has adopted “Cool Grey”, it is the first time that its upper is free of any other hue. A little known fact is that the Air Jordan 10 – which boasts number 23’s career achievements on its outsole – was supposed to be the first sneaker made in honor of his retirement. However, the next show in the Spring collection emulates the 1995 fax that read “I’m Back”, obviously marking Jordan’s historic return to the NBA. That story is honored with some special details placed on the heel tabs you can see below that feature red embroidery. The “Cool Grey” is scheduled to release later this month on January 27th, while the “I’m Back” does not currently come with a release date.
