Air Jordan 10
The Air Jordan 10 is Michael Jordan’s tenth signature shoe. It originally released in 1994 and was designed by Tinker Hatfield during MJ’s first retirement from the NBA. The shoe features a mix of leather, nylon, and Zoom Air cushioning. Though a cult classic for some Jordan afficianados, Michael Jordan has actually gone on record and cited the AJ10 as one of his least favorite from his signature line.
The sneaker has made several comebacks throughout the years, with 2020 arguably its high point this decade; the AJ10 dropped in half a dozen new colorways that year.
2025 marked another rejuvenation for the oft-underrated silhouette, as two of its classic colorways, the Jordan 10 “Steel” and Jordan 10 “Shadow,” made their way back to shelves. Perhaps more notable, the “Steel” carried the divisive toe-cap, a love-it-or-hate-it detail but one aligned with Jordan brand’s renewed focus on recreating “OG” hardware.
Rather than siloing the models’ comeback at the quarter century mark, the Air Jordan 10 already has a major milestone tabbed for 2026. The AJ10 “Sacramento,” one of the original “City Pack” colorways, will receive its first-ever Retro release come Holiday ’26.
