A Look Back At Russell Westbrook’s Air Jordan 10 PEs

What a career.

A Look Back At Russell Westbrook’s Air Jordan 10 PEs

Russell Westbrook has called it a career. The “Triple Double King” and future NBA Hall of Famer enters father time with a stacked résumé, including 9 All-Star selections, an MVP award, and being named to the NBA’s 75th Anniversary Team. For all the hate and criticism he got near the end, basketball fans of all creeds are coming out in droves in appreciation of the heart and hustle that defined his game.

As is tradition when an NBA great hangs ’em up for good, we’re making time to spotlight one of Westbrook’s best sneaker moments. Westbrook was signed to Nike from 2008-2012 before changing to Jordan Brand for the bulk of his career, eventually including his “Why Not” signature line that produced six mainline models from 2018-2023.

In 2014, Jordan Brand created a Jordan 10 “OKC” PE pack consisting of home and away colorways, both featuring patterned interiors, “0” stitching for Russ’s jersey number, and a liberal amount of blue and orange accents. Russ would receive a number of other Jordan 10 and Jordan 3 PE styles in the lead-up to his signature line, often worn in-game with his signature “Why Not?” tagline written on the toe.

Given that the days of Jordan athletes wearing retros in-game are pretty much behind us at this point, Westbrook’s PE pack is certainly one worth reflecting on. Take a trip down memory lane via the detailed images embedded below.

In related news, the Jordan 10 “Taxi” drops May 2027.
