The Nike Air Max Plus “Greedy” Is Releasing On December 8th

In the two decade-long life of the boisterous Air Max Plus silhouette, its most notable colorways have got to be the revered “Hyper Blue” and “Sunset” iterations that helped debut the nostalgic model in its original 1998 campaign. Now, 20 years later the Swoosh is set to fuse those two creations together while borrowing the revered “Greedy” aesthetic from the hallowed Air Max 95. Split down the middle, this Air Max Plus – in its original Tn Air equipped construction – borrows the aesthetic from a grail-status version of the same silhouette that dropped in 2000 as well, the “Grid” variety. These three iterations of the unapologetic Air Max creation helped its rise to glory in London’s roadman street culture, and is now aiding in its resurgence in today’s maximalist sneaker climate. With the Hyper Blue color adorning both shoe’s lateral side, the Sunset taking shape on the medial, and the Grid motif subtly bringing it all together, this AM Plus is arguably one of the top colorway this silhouette has ever seen. Fans looking to hone in on this nostalgic, yet modern Air Max Plus “Greedy” will be able to do so when they touch down at retailers around the globe on December 8th.
