Chris Paul Honors Tiger Woods’ Masters Win With Jordan PEs

Tiger Woods secured his 15th major victory on Sunday in rousing fashion with a come-from-behind effort at the Masters, so Chris Paul opted to pay homage to his good friend’s momentous accomplishment with a special Tiger-themed PE version of his new Jordan CP3.XII. Paul’s PEs were a three-pronged homage to Tiger, nodding to both the man himself and his signature driver cover with their bold tiger fur on the heel/lateral midfoot, while the red base conveniently uses the same shade as Tiger’s signature Sunday shirts. With the special shoes on his feet, Paul helped lead the Rockets to a compelling victory of their own on Sunday, as they administered a 122-90 beatdown to the hapless Utah Jazz. Woods and Paul have been close for years, with the virtuoso point guard even stating that the legend of the links got him into golf in the first place. Therefore, the shoes were a fitting tribute to a man whose chase of Jack Nicklaus’s 18 major titles appears to be back on after his victory at Augusta National. Check out the new kicks below, and be sure to stay tuned for updates, as we’re sure to see many more compelling PEs before the 2019 NBA Playoffs run their course.
