Jordan Continues Its Exploration Of Lifestyle With The Defy SP

Jordan Brand has left no stone unturned and no tech unused in their recent exploration of new lifestyle silhouettes, and the latest design to surface is an interesting new mid-cut silhouette titled the Defy SP. Featuring an overall shape that’s somewhat reminiscent of the Air Jordan 33, the Defy SP calls upon a wild medley of materials ranging from classic leather and suede to modern mesh and translucent TPE for a bricolage look, one that’s all held together by a bold black buckle system. From a colorway standpoint, the upper mostly uses white, sail, and tan, but also adds a healthy dose of summer-ready flair thanks to cool teal and bright infrared accents towards the heel. Branding is kept to a bare minimum as well, only appearing via delicately stitched heel tabs and a classic Jumpman on the outsole’s toe, while Zoom Air embedded in the midsole offers cushioning. This Defy is available now at overseas stockists and will likely join the ranks of other modern-day JB lifestyle silhouettes like the Proto React and Proto Max 720 on Nike.com in the coming weeks, so keep it locked here for updates and enjoy a full set of official images below while you wait.
