Nike Honors Two Hoops Legends With The Air Force 1 Low “Kay Yow”

Nike Honors Two Hoops Legends With The Air Force 1 Low “Kay Yow”

Nike’s ongoing support of the Kay Yow Cancer Fund continues with a special edition release of the Air Force 1 Low, pairing two hoops legends together for a spirited release for charity. The Kay Yow Cancer Fund was founded in 2007, two years before the head coach of NC State’s women’s basketball team succumbed to the affliction. But since its founding, it has mightily served the community by assisting underserved women while funding cutting-edge research towards the pursuit of the cure. This December 3rd launch houses some of the familiar details that you’ll recognize in previous Kay Yow x Nike release while introducing a playful take on the Swoosh logo as it shadows beneath its traditional position and takes form with thick pink cords. Ribbon laces also commemorate the trademark logo of the fight against the diseases, while a custom insole recognizes the organization’s mission. See an official look at this collaborative release here and get your pair directly from Nike SNKRS for $100 on the 12/3 release date.
