Michael Le Dying down quite a fair bit in the current ebb and flow of fashion as we know it, the pink and green pairing was once the end all be all of the menswear climate, dressing up the alligator-marked polos of Lacoste and becoming a mainstay in Ralph Lauren’s repertoire of rugby shirts. Now, quite a fair bit more recent, Nike is getting just a bit nostalgic as they outfit the Air Trainer SC High in those very same loud colors. Its base of smooth leathers, however, dose in an entirely neutral backdrop of typical materials, only deviating in visual dimension by way of its seemingly all-over perforations. Overlaid are reptilian textures at the eye stay, forefoot, lining, swoosh, going further in connection as they dye in dark, olive hits. Then, in complement, webbing and eye stay hooks break up the palette through Pink Quartz, a fitting addition that refrains from overstaying its welcome.
