The collaborative effort between Concepts and Kyrie Irving is surely one of the more unique partnerships that we’ve witnessed emerge from the Nike Basketball catalog. Having already worked on a handful of offerings dating back to the Kyrie 4, the two parties seemed to have found a working formula for creating specially made storytelling renditions of the Brooklyn Nets point guard’s signatures. Now that the Kyrie 6 is fully settled into the market, the hardwood-ready silhouette is now calling upon the Boston-based retailer once again to help usher in a duo of new designs. Departing from the constellational themes used on their most recently released “Orion’s Belt” collaboration, these two almost look as if they’re steering in a direction inspired by ancient Egypt. Each pair takes on what looks to be a two-toned base layer, splitting up its vibrance between orange/grey on the first pair, and metallic silver and teals on the second option reminiscent of the tones and elements you’d find throughout Egyptian tomb art. Stay tuned as we learn more of their official release date, and enjoy a set of teaser images here below.
