In sneaker culture, it often only takes one strong collaboration to turn the tides of a shoe’s popularity — some obviously with more success than others. Silhouettes such as the Sock Dart or even the Waffle Racer have been put on the map by whichever designer so chooses to dress them, and despite quite a few reveals and closer looks at last night’s Nike forum, it seems the the most exciting offerings have yet to come. Teased earlier today by way of social media, Hiroshi Fujiwara let reveal an upcoming Fragment x Air Jordan 34, one dressed in the white, black, and blue palette he often employs. Mesh bases lay relatively standard in terms of the model’s general constructions, but along the side, a subtly imprinted Fragment logo rests in its typical shape. Elsewhere, taping is dyed dark just as the eye stays and heel embroidery, while the subtle detailing along the side of the eye stay, the tips of the laces, and the shade of the tread all dye the saturated cool tone. Though there’s no word on when or if we’ll see these release, keep it locked for further information as we receive it.
