With the celebrations of Alien Day just around the corner, Reebok and Alien gear up to release the fourth and final installment of their footwear collaborations. Harking back to the 1996 film, the shoes are fittingly dubbed the U.S.C.M. Bug Stomper as they are inspired by the film’s Marines’ dropship, and pay homage to the United States Colonial Marines as well as the protagonist in PFC William Hudson. While at first the shoes may simply seem like a neutral beige shoe with rear camouflage graphics, these kicks come packaged with a myriad of movie-influenced details. Customary Reebok flag insignias are traded out for the Weyland Yutani “W” logo, the “Eyes on Your Back” motif is translated through a right heel graphic, sock liners feature the “Death or Glory skulls, and the right side foot strap spells out “Contents Under Pressure” to nod to the back of Hudson’s body armor. Additionally, the under the left strap, you will find a UR code that provides owners with access to unreleased content from the upcoming books “The Making of Aliens” by Titan and “Alien The Original Screenplay”. Capture a detailed look at the shoes and its insane packaging here below, and find them releasing on Reebok.com come April 26th, for $220 USD.
In other news, the Nike SB Dunk 420 is expected to release this Summer.
