Pharrell And adidas Extend Hu Collection With A BOOST Slide

Pharrell Williams is a man of (literally) many hats. Since 2014, “adidas collaborator” has been a mainstay within his rotation, and has brought forth dozens of footwear options as eccentric as the man himself. Soon, BOOST Slide will join the two entities’ growing collaborative roster.

While BOOST-cushioned slides aren’t new to the German sportswear brand, Pharrell’s take is. Clad in either “Core Black” or “Orange”, inaugural pairs feature “Hu” branding on its three-layer, breathable forefoot strap. As with the Virginia-native’s recent Superstar duo, footbeds are laden with outlines depicting the “colon”, “pelvis”, and other organs. BOOST foam indulges in its pair’s tonal arrangement and accompanied by wavy tread patterns.

While an official adidas.com release date may be in the works, the Pharrell’s BOOST Slide is arriving at select European shops on August 1st. In the meantime, enjoy a look at both pairs ahead.

Elsewhere under The Three Stripes umbrella, Yeezy is slated to launch two new takes of the Yeezy 700 V3 throughout fall.
