This adidas Samba Celebrates Los Angeles FC

Yet to launch in its tonal arrangement courtesy of Jonah Hill, the adidas Samba has recently surfaced in a shimmering-accented colorway co-created with MLS’ Los Angeles FC (LAFC).

Constructed with a mix of leather and suede, uppers on this 1950s-silhouette indulge in the California-based franchise’s “Core Black/Gold Metallic” team colors. The reinforced “T” toe and the bulk of its surroundings opt for a dark, tonal arrangement, while branding across the tongue and profile and heel overlays deliver eye-catching flair. “LOS ANGELES” text beside lateral 3-Stripes logos replace traditional “SAMBA” branding; LAFC’s badge follows suit on the tongue and is accompanied by interchangeable attachments honoring the 2014-founded organization. Underfoot, sole units forgo any “Core Black” and “Gold Metallic” hues in favor of the Samba’s tried-and-test brown “Gum” arrangement.

The LAFC Samba officially launches at adidas.com on August 22nd for $90 USD. While you wait, enjoy a closer look at the pair ahead.
