After unveiling its tie-dye-laden “Peace, Love, And Golf” collection, NIKE, Inc. has (unofficially) shared more colorful, hippie-inspired arrangements ahead of September’s International Day of Peace. Next up: the Nike KD 13 “Easy Money Sniper”.
While not covered in abstract shapes like its golf-counterparts, Kevin Durant’s latest signature sneaker boasts an equally-eye-catching ensemble. A black base sets the stage for floral graphics varying in size and color, in particular across the Air Jordan 1-reminiscent heel flaps. “LOVE” and smiley face patches join the mix along the lateral profile; medial sides sport sideways peace-gestures and basketball embellishments. Elsewhere, the tongue and collar padding indulge in a more muted, but still playful palette, with the latter also featuring a retro-style “KD” logo. Lateral profile Swooshes and sole units don’t partake in the psychedelic aesthetic, but their respective transparent and predominantly off white makeups complement the shoe’s design well.
Enjoy a detailed look at this groovy KD 13, as you wait for pairs to arrive to Nike.com by or around September 21st.
